Corrections
These are the ones we most want to receive, and the ones we act on fastest. A site whose whole argument is that its numbers can be checked has no business being defensive about being checked.
The most useful correction names the page, the figure you believe is wrong, and what you think it should be. Better still, point at the CSV — every chart publishes the data it was drawn from via the download link beneath it, so a disagreement can usually be settled by looking at the same rows.
Two things worth knowing before you write. First, on-chain metrics are fetched on a rotation and each chart states the date of its own last data point, so a figure trailing the calendar by a few days is expected rather than stale. Second, several series legitimately differ between vendors — US government debt in particular, where the IMF measure excludes intragovernmental holdings that the Treasury total includes. Where that applies, the page says which source it used and why.
Data and methodology
Questions about how something is computed are welcome too. Each chart page carries a method note, but if one is unclear or you think the method itself is wrong — a fitted model that flatters the data, a comparison whose start date does the work — that is a conversation worth having. Several of the caveats across this site exist because the underlying method deserved a warning label, and more of them probably do.
Republishing a chart
Charts and figures may be reproduced with attribution and a link back to the page they came from. Please take the CSV rather than screenshotting, so what you publish carries the date it was built.
