M2, US and world debt, and debt priced in bitcoin
These charts are about the denominator. Bitcoin's dollar price mixes two moving things — what Bitcoin is worth and what a dollar is worth — and this group tries to separate them by setting Bitcoin against the money supply, against government debt, and against what those aggregates have done on their own.
Everything here is indexed to 100 and plotted on one log axis. The popular versions of these comparisons shift the money-supply series forward by ten to fifteen weeks until the lines agree; no two publishers use the same offset, which is the tell. No offset is applied on any page in this group, and the pages say so.
